I seek to create images of socially relevant topics and situations that have been forgotten, are constantly changing, or disappearing. I tend to focus on anthropological subject matter suited to the record keeping capabilities of the photographic medium.
Photography is a vehicle to convey an experience, an idea, or story to those who would otherwise never have had the chance to see it. I strive toward documenting and capturing the essence of a place and its inhabitants by forming a body of work in attempts to understand and define them.
